Diablo 3 Season One Overview video from Blizzard
The end of Diablo 3 Season One arrives on 3 February, and while most of you know exactly what’s going to happen, perhaps you missed something. This evening Blizzard has released a new video which explains what’s going to happen with things such as Blood Shards, stash space, achievements and more. Worth a watch if you’ve not been following all the updates here in the news.

Diablo 3 Story in Five Minutes Video
Diablo 3’s story has come in for some criticism but can you condense it into a five minute video? Apparently you can as seen in this video. Sure it skips over stuff but it’s amusing for the captions that are flashed up and in essence it gets most of the plot. And no, you are not getting a spoiler warning, you’ve all played the game through now I should imagine 😉

Interview: Diablo Creator David Brevik Discusses His Feelings on Diablo 3
This week I was fortunate to catch up with David Brevik at Gamescom in Cologone to find out more about his new title Marvel Heroes but also to find out what he thought of Diablo 3, after all, he created the Diablo franchise. In the interview David talks quite openly about Diablo 3 and the mixed emotions he feels about the game and all the backlash from the community since the game was released.

Blizzard Taiwan Puts on a Diablo 3 Dance
Blizzard has done some pretty weird promotional stuff with Diablo over the years, I still remember the Diablo 2 Alien Space Opera they put on at ECTS in the late nineties, that was just weird. Anyway, Blizzard were at the TCA Show(Taipei Computer Applications Show in Taiwan and put on this little number. What it has to do with Diablo 3 is anyone’s guess.

Developer Diary 2 Unlocks
The second developer diary has now unlocked as the Darkness Falls promotion reaches 30%. This video was shot back on April 5th 2011 prior to the internal Alpha test starting. Jay Wilson, Christian Lichtner, and Jason Regier take part in this one.

The guys at Playerscut in Korea recently had the chance to sit down with one of the writers on the Book of Cain, Micky Neilson, now that the book has launched in Korea. Micky takes part in a fun Yes/No interview with the Playerscut team playing the part of Deckard Cain as they probe him for more info on the game and lore.

Diablo 3 Hype Video
Community member JoltJared posted this cool hype video in the forums today which is very well put together. His assumption is the game will hit in December which as we all know is unknown at this point, but he’s done a great job with the editing and it’s a nice trailer for the August 1st info blow-out.
