The holiday issue of PCGamer (US) featured a ‘Games of 2012’ article which appeared online in December. A scan of the hard copy of the issue appeared via Likes2PaintShit on reddit. At the bottom of the piece it has the release date down as March 2012. (I didn’t annotate it with the red marker). Yes, before you caw that Blizzard never give release dates to outsiders first, I’m aware of that, so keep your knickers on. Unlike retailers who are often that specific to help secure pre-orders magazines usually put TBC (to be confirmed) so it seemed strange they went specific there.
Several months ago, PC Gamer visited Blizzard’s offices and conducted interviews as well as scoring a number of new screenshots. Ever since they’ve been bleeding out new tidbits from their visit (the biggest chunk was in the print mag feature, and then an abridged online version) and today brings another new preview of sorts, plus two new screenshots. There’s nothing *new* in the article, though it’s a good read with some behind the scenes stuff from Blizzcon as well as Julian Love quotes about D3’s long development. Besides, it’s been so long since we got any actual new game info…

The holiday issue of the US PCGamer will be focusing on Diablo 3 and PCGamer has fired up the cover art of the issue in question which features a female Barbarian complete with ‘bed hair’. (See that image in HQ in our gallery.) They also outline some of the content that will be included.
