We already posted a huge slab of Launch Night interviews, and thanks to fmulder and his GoogleFu, here are a bunch more. These are all quickies filmed from various launch night events, so don’t expect a great deal of introspection and detailed insight into the creative process.

Last night was pretty exciting waiting for the release, I know the team here had a lot of fun talking to everyone in the chat and taking part in the launch show. Loads of interviews have now been posted from numerous launch events including:

Gamesplanet NZ has posted a new interview with Leonard Boyarsky. Parts of it read like past LeBo interviews, but there are some new bits, and there’s even a new screenshot, showing some Monk battle action against a variety of Fallen in Act Two. Fmulder spotted a new Leonard Boyarsky interview on NAG Online. It was recorded last month at BlizzCon, and covers lots of interesting story and plot stuff. How LeBo transitioned from being an artist into doing story and content, how they worked story into Diablo III, how they wanted to update the lore and world state from previous games, etc.

Amidst all of the interviews and content coverage that stemmed from the Blizzard media event in late July, we missed this Gamespot video interview of Leonard Boyarsky, and thanks to reader Soumya for using our new Submit News button to send us a reminder of why it’s worth watching. The interview is only five minutes long and the first three are taken up by Leonard doing a nice concise job of recapping the whole story of D1 and D2. The last question redeems the feature, as the interviewer gets Leonard to reveal a bit of the overall story of Diablo III that we’ve never before heard so explicitly stated.
