Blizzard has posted another Lightning Talk, with a developer reprising his quick presentation from Blizzcon onto video for the edification of everyone who didn’t witness (or couldn’t hear) the original live talk at Blizzcon 2015. This one features John Yang discussing 10 key Legendary/Set items that were exploited, or nerfed, or that players asked to be nerfed.

By now, most players have found (often to their surprise) that the themed achievement park of the Season Journey is actually a pretty fun ride. I was skeptical when I first saw it on the PTR for Patch 2.3, but found myself enjoying it when building my first Seasonal character on the PTR.

Blizzard tweeted out welcome news: Diablo 3 Community Q&A: September 1st in Reddit’s Diablo forum. Fielding questions will be John Yang, Travis Day, Wyatt Cheng, and Matthew Berger, software engineer Roger Hughston, artist Richie Marella, and writer Brian Kindregan, on Tuesday, September 1 from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. PDT.

Last week brought news of a change to improve the lag for Witch Doctors using the Carnevil helm, by reducing the number of Fetishes firing poison darts to 5, while also boosting the damage of the darts to keep the overall damage output roughly the same. Now that the patch is live, players have some reactions, and Blues have answers.

Barbarian players have been complaining that the six piece bonus for the Immortal King’s set is lacking, especially compared to other Barb sets. Happily, Blizzard agrees and John Yang shared their plans to fix the problem, via BIGGAR NUMBARS!!11! in the next PTR patch.
