Blizzard on Enraged Phantoms/Ghosts

Lately, my play time has been pretty heavy. I’ve been fortunate and free enough to put in enough time to push me into gr 60+ seasonal so far, and I’ve finally hit what I like to call the seatbelt. There have always been seatbelts on us when grifting. They are mechanics placed in the game as limiters. Something that practice can’t overcome. In previous seasons it was the elite affix thunderstorm or jailer. Instant, unavoidable damage. Regardless of player skill, this was your gear check. It has always been the limiting factor when topping out on the high end. Sure monster damage and health scaling also control our destiny at the higher difficulty level, but most damage is avoidable if you can dodge it. These were our seatbelts.

Changes to Auction House Coming

Community Manager Lylirra posted earlier today saying that we will get some well sought after changes to the Auction House. Many of you, me included wanted more slots for the affixes filter in the Auction House, especially when we have many items with 5+ affixes. So Blizzard is bumping it up from 3 to 6 slots also the minimum value field gets an upgrade from max value of 3 numbers to 5 numbers.

WoW’s New Dungeon Journal: Coming To Diablo 3?

The new World of Warcraft patch enabled a feature called the Dungeon Journal. This is an in-game encyclopedia that includes dungeon maps, loot tables, monster spell and ability info, and more; basically all the detailed knowledge players used to play games to learn on their own, and now visit wikis or fansites to read. WoW players debated this feature at length before its activation, and today Grug brought that argument to the D3 forum and got a reply from Bashiok.
