Zon imbue and socketing - 3 questions

1) I have a mavs helm and just got done with my socket quest in hell. If I socket the helm will it always have 2 sockets? I actually thought the helm came with two sockets.

2) I have a GMB plus 3 skill bow with no sockets. If I give to Lazuruk I assume he will put the max sockets in it, which is six. If I use the cube recipe it is like rolling a random number between one and six. However, if it comes up 1-3 this bow is so high up it would automatically give me a minimum of four sockets. This means 66% of the time I will have the bow that I want. Correct?

3) What do you imbue? In classic it was always Gothic bows. Since they suck compared to unique or runewords that seems like a waste. What do you imbue now?

well all are wrong gmb = 5 sox and thats worth **** try the cube recipe:
1 Ral Rune + 1 Amn Rune + 1 Perfect Amethyst + Normal Weapon = Socketed Weapon of same type
The number of sockets created will vary. The item must be normal and unsocketed. Low-quality items and superior items do not work. The item gets 1-6 sockets, randomly. However, the number of sockets is then restricted by the maximum number of sockets that base item with that ilvl can have. For example, if you have an item that can only have 2 sockets, there's a 5/6 chance of getting 2 sockets and a 1/6 chance of getting 1 socket.

and mav helm has alway no sox and get 1 sox from larzuk..

and you always imbue clean diadems (try getting from the pits then the Ilvl = 85 and the Qlvl = 85) diadem has always the same Qlvl as Ilvl wich makes it perfect to imbue as you always have highest chance of being good and 4 suffixes and even 2 sox...

1) Set items ill only gain one socket.

2) There is an even chance for each number of sockets, your not more likely to get one over the other.

3) I would guess Hydra Bows or Cursaider Bows. but thats a bit of a waste, imbue circlets.

actually the max number of sockets for a gmb is 5....larzuk will always give the max for a gmb...larzuk can socket superiors

the socket recipe will not work with superior items.....a random roll between 1 and 6 is generated....for a gmb there is a 1 in 6 chance of getting 1-4 sockets and a 2 in 6 chance of getting 5 sockets

does the level of the character doing the imbue affect the level of the imbue, or does the ilvl of the item affect it? If it is indeed the ilvl, I could start picking up all the diadems I come across and give them to my mules to imbue...

hrm... ive been saving tiaras lately... are those ok for imbueing? i would agree, that my godliest imbue was a diadem tho. if diadems and tiaras are tha different, ill dump the 3 i have and wait for diadems.

well each circlet with a Ilvl 8x+ is good for imbue (i prefering using diadems from the pits as those are max Ilvl and Qlvl)

And for those superior ward bows and hydra bows you find that you dont want to socket a level 8 imbue can get you the cruel prefix.

i keep hearing about Qlvl, but ive never seen an explanation on what that is?

i just do this with imbue and craft :

Ilvl + Qlvl / 2 = craft lvl if i remember correctly correct me if i am wrong
dont you post here ttp with youre advice i search out myself...

i am searching for it atm so will find it out~~

Superdave on it again.

Well its time to cube recipe the bow. Come on four. I thought i might have 2/3 chance, turns out only 1/6.

Time to imbue coronets or diadems.
