Zealot PvP Guide v2.0

How does charging increase their chance of critical striking you...? Their chance to deal a deadly strike (not crit o.o) is based solely on their deadly strike%.

Also..(Yes, lower range hits more often but not as far away). What? I've never heard of either of these before and they don't seem very logical to me. You get five hits, chance to hit is calculated by AR, def, and attacker/defenders char level, then block is factored. Range doesn't matter unless they were to move out of your range and cut off your hits, yes?

If I'm making an *** out of myself I'm really sorry.

I have a question, I just started my Zealot, clvl 17 right now, and I put 1 pt in charge as a prereq for holy shield. Then some zon wanted to duel me, and I decided to actually USE charge, and I was r4ping her. So why isnt Charge valued in such a guide to chase down mages and zons and really anyone with enigma too. As I said this is my first pally, so thats why i'm asking for help, to see if charge is even useful.

The critical strike thing may be incorrect, in whitch case I'll take it out next guide. Nonetheless I've been told that by many people, and every time I see someone get hit when they are charging, they almost always lose half of their life. I do know for certain that it lowers your chance to block, as does simply running to your target. As for the range issue, that's also being debated. It's been tested, and there's a summary of the tests in the first guide thread. See if those convince you.

In order to be a zealot you will ALWAYS have at least 1 point in charge, if only to get to holy shield. This guide is geared more for melee vs. melee, but I also made it to tell you how to build a zealot, not how to duel with them. Come up with strategies of your own, it makes dueling more interesting anyway.

For Zealots Sandstorms simply don't have very many stats that aren't completely eclipsed by one of the other boots that were mentioned. At least, that's my experience.

sandstorms are decent, they can help you hit the 86 FHR breakpoint, give you some life, and provide strength which can allow more vita... they are an option
