Zealot/conviction where should the rest of my points go?

I made a Zealot that's using conviction aura. He is level 87 now doing well soloing hell and all.

Gear:
GA, HoZ, azurwrath shaeled, dracus, nos coil, gores, hilords, ravenforst/dual leeach, kira's guradian

i have 90 resistance to all. with all my +skills i get level 9 HS and when i cast it gives me about 4.6k defense. i have 87FHR

Skills:
20 zeal
20 sacrifice
20 conviction
1 HS
1 vigor
1 Redemption
1 all pre-req

i have 20 skill points left. so i'm wondering. shld i dump all the 20pts into HS to gimme some insane def? or shld i dump them in resist lighting so i can get 100 resistance in lighgint?. or maybe max bless aim for the AR? cos i feel i've reached my peek for this char and hope the 20pts can bring my char to the next level or smth.

Thx.

Make sure not to do more than 10 points in resist lightning if you do go for it since the maximum resist you're allowed is 95%.

Oh and for comparison, my conviction zealot is wearing: GA (upped), HoZ, Azurewrath, Dracul's, String, Gores, Saracen's Chance, Raven Frost, Dwarf Star, Vampire Gaze; which when paired with a maxed holy shield (lvl 26) gives ~13.5k defense.

You see this is my main dialiemma. i can either go Max HS now or Max bless aim for AR.

the problem is do will the extra 10k def pay off or max bless aim giving me 100% more AR so i can hit more constently...

As I understand it you shouldn't need any more AR than you currently get with your zeal+raven frost as the -90% or so defense from conviction means you should almost never miss.

Well if you intend to play this char for the long haul, I'd recommend going 20 in res light as potentially you could use a dream shield and helm and there isnt any other use of those points that can bump up your damage to this extent. (apprx 1-7K light damage per swing, 1000 ish pulse damage)

ps. Try a Vor or Rift wep and see if you like that added aoe.

If you dont think dream is going to be a good option for you down the road you could also try maxing fanat, this would give you amazing physical damage (on switch perhaps) for your zeal (or smiting)

try this link if you want to see how my suggestions work out.

One great thing about the Vor pally is it's easy to make at what most would consider "cheap". It gets really powerful as you get better stuff. Its a build you can grow with.

When I started this build, I used Voice of reason (pretty easy to make,no hr's) the rest of my things were self found and cost at most a few pgems per part. I started with a very high cb setup , Gface, goblintoes, duress and this did very well. As I aquired better things I added Dreams to use with vor. On switch I maxed fanat , used grief and hoz and can stand par with any smiter. Basically this build can both deal massive physical and massive elemental damages. No immunes to worry about and very uber capable.

Ive set it before here, but this build rocks!

You should use rift. Beats azurewrath ten times over

Shame you put points in zeal and sacrifice. Otherwise you could make a FoH hybrid. Conviction zealing and FoH mend together very well. Both use the same aura, one requires a very small point investment and the other requires a high skill point investment, and they're also from different elements

When using Dual Dream you will get 1-7k lightning dmg with maxed res lightning and maxed salvation, with only maxed res lightning you get 1-5.6k

Vor is so handy and so much fun, don't write it off for the low damage

FoH is useless on its own, but can be a good once-in a while nuker, for taking down that reviver hiding behind his big army or that pack of undead
