"The Grinch that Stole Christmas" - hands down, although I now regret the happy ending

You'd better be talking about "How the Grinch Stole Christmas!" from 1966 - narrated by Boris Karloff.

Re: Your favorite Christmas movie?

A few days ago I asked my wife if she'd count Die Hard as a Christmas movie, she said that was ridiculous, there's a lot of movies set on Christmas that aren't Christmas movies, you might as well say Gremlins.

Those are both great though.

The only legitimate Christmas movie I recall liking was the one with Dudley Moore and John Lithgow, but I haven't seen that since I was a kid so I don't know if it's the way I remember it or if it's one of those only good when you're a kid things.

Oh, and Scrooged was on again tonight, that movie is alright.

Yes I am. And thanks for the corrections !

The best part is of course the stealing part, sort of like scammers when they
get your account details and clean you out.

What he said.

Later dudes, let it rip

And Love Actually of course, that movie does a great job proving that romantic comedies can be awesome.
Especially british ones, american ones not so much.

The field of drippy British-American romantic comedies is already about as bad as movie genres can get (only possible competitor: movies based on computer games), but I thought Love Actually did an impressive job of being the worst of the lot. That takes special effort.
