Had simlar experience in NM last night. Tired of running cows and CS (with Diablo dropping zilch for the effort) to get some hell worthy gear, I decide I can run meph with level 61 classic LF Javazon. Hire cold merc to take care of dolls along with valk. Run out from Dur 2 WP 4 doll surround me. Rather than wait for merc and valk I let loose with one fury. BANG 4 dead dolls = 12 life left. DOH. Decide things are too risky for someone with such little patience. Back to moo moo farm. :(

Oddly just read about it here a few days ago. so will do that with next char. iirc i ran her once more in nm and got nothing (I usually see deckard 1st) but may try again. Cows no longer give any xp to speak of and tend to drop only one set and perhaps a rare or 2 a run so only useful for gambling cash which doesn't last long at this level and getting flawless gems . Was trying to find white mage plate to imbue (have both imbues saved) but appears it will not drop in NM cows???? Council is fairly safe as long as Geleb is avoided. Likely I will just shelve her till I get my Pally or necro to the point of finding some useful stuff.

there has been sooooooooooooooo many posts about the andy bug. go look it up yourself cause im sort of busy srry. If i have time, ill explain it for the 100th time. :grrr:

Pretty much you kill andy, and you go straight to the guy that takes you to act 2, and goto act 2. Then you will always get the "first kill" drops. Thats the andy bug. And if im wrong, well then....you'll get over it.

I think your snarkiness may have been uncalled for.

ps - I think you leave the game immediately after killing her and then make a new one and talk to Warriv there after drinking 11 beers and dancing the forbidden dance in your Joe Boxxers (this would be the pudding free forbidden dance as opposed to the forbidden dance which involves rolling about in a wading pool full of butterscotch pudding while making noises like an enraged sea lion looking for a tasty herring).... I could however be wrong and as I do NOT feel like looking it up OR asking snarky people with initial names that could spell out many non nice things I will just continue along my blissfully bug/hack ignorant way. :wave:

A few days ago I finally got my lvl 74 or whatever he was baba to hell baal and like my first run the guy opens a TP and says 1. I had around 1/6th life left when it got done loading. I nearly craped my pants when I saw that and exited faster than I ever have before. If I hadent gone to WSK2 to BO I would have had my life cut tragicley short.

Igor in the Statistics forum has a guide for finding SoJs. In it he explains the usefulness of the bug, feature, whatever you want to call it. I understand completely when people get mad at others for using it, saying its like bypassing the waypoint timer or something. I make myself feel better about it by explaining it like, hey, Blizzard never intended for that timer to be passed. Does Blizzard intend for me not to go talk to Warriv and go to act 2 in the same game? I guess not.

Kill Andy for quest, talk to Warriv, and go to act 2 all in the same game. Then you get quest drop everytime.

P.S. - Hey z3r0-, this is "tKT-Knight" from the IGN boards.

And don't call her Puddin'. (now Ambrosia might be a more offensive name....)

On the Andy Topic: It's all BS. I've tried it seven ways to Sunday, even with the Dance That Will Not Be Named, and it's all just random. Doesn't mean you can't still drink those 11 beers tho...

ooo, i got a good one! just happend too :xx:

i was doing NM Trav, with my friends.

we all got cursed, and i was standing next to a FE counsil member...

well, he popped, and i went from like 2.5k down to around... 100 or so, the bulb looked emtpy, although there was no one left ( or i think) i quit, cuz cuz i thought if there was an enemy, i would have died.

anyways, good thing im a Shock Bear Druid with Oak Sage. :winner:
