Yo Aussies - Tax?
So...
My wife and I are seriously considering moving to Australia (I'm an Aussie citizen so there should not be any real immigration issues) and we're doing a feasibility study on whether we can afford to live/work there.
The two biggest costs are going to be Rent and Tax, and I was wondering if anyone can give a guide on how much tax we'll be paying. I've filled in the boxes on the link below and the tax is coming in at 25-30%. Which is fine, but from what I've heard the tax burden in Australia is much much higher... what extra tax would we be paying?
Second - Any Sydney folk on here? What is the rent range for a 2 bed flat in a half decent area of Sydney?
