Yet Another Windy question

In Windy vs windy, which would give me the upperhand: going for DR with SS and with 99 FCR, or going 163 FCR? Anyone comments would be appreciated

It really depends on what your DR is without the SS and what the other druid is using.

You got 170-180% FCR there with 16% DR. You are basically gaining an extra breakpoint and losing 5-7++ skills and losing 34% DR, it is definitly not worth it, especially against another Windie. I can see against Sorceress's but another Druid will tear you apart as they will have more life and twice the damage that you will have.

Stick with Stormshield, the lack of DR is going to kill you.

i must be that good then, cause my 163% druid rarely loses to another windy

druid with good gear at the 163% bp, not the crap you posted will tear apart a druid with a lower bp, you dont need a wiz spike, you can use a hoto, dono why you would use a lidless over a spirit, a 20% fcr 2 druid skills circlet shaeld, with that set up you dont loose much skill pts, and your life will be extremely close to that of a 99% windy, and you will cast faster and there is no excuse for loosing to a 99% windy with a 163% one, its not a hard duel.

Bakerking31: There are no Spirits' in Non, I guess I should of pointed that out eariler. You can't use a HotO and keep a Circlet, you have to either use a Wizspike with the Circlet, or Valk with the HotO; it'll give 160% elsewise.

sry i only play ladder, and ladder druids that hit 163 kill the slower fcr ones probably because you dont have to sacrifice as much on ladder to get the higher fcr, i know leper uses base str i think ... he uses 2 10% fcr 20 str rare rings to get his str up a bit so hes all vit, he has just as much life as any other druid if not more.

leper and i play ladder west btw, his druid i would say is probably the best ive dueled on west ladder. ... and its not finished yet, he still needs to get 6 12%fhr gcs to hit the 5 frame bp for fhr ... i think its 5 frames ... anyway its the next bp.

163% fcr windy's always beat my 99%fcr

ive just got the gear together to give me 163%

its sitting in the stash atm...have only had 1 opportunity to use it, in which case i owned the other dru

my 99% druid with ca 40% dr almost never looses to any druids(but it happens of course mostly to aa then but ive met some very good without), if any would like to make a dvd private game count me in

guess its really a personal preferrence thing then. if ur on ladder and can handle the force of a 163%oint: then id go with that, i dont know what u have to sacrifice on non since i dont play non, i cant give u any info on what to do then.

well im planning on dueling in L pubs.. i guess ill just use 99 fcr for a balance and then switch to 163 fcr when i duel sorcs and windies =)
