    Yale finds a new planet

I think its pretty interesting that major elements in our solar system are still being found. It just goes to show you how much there is to know and how little of it we actually do know.

Then I guess we got trillions of planets in our solar system, if you include every piece of rock in the asteroid belt... Quick claim yours first, see that one, the one shaped my Jay Leno's chin, yeah that one, that will be known as Planet Turd.

It seems to be mor elike a comet. It has an ellipse shaped orbit and its a chunk of ice. Yes, I think pluto is a comet too.

Comets have a tail, while this planet does not have. And it cant be a asteriod because its size is greater then then an asteroids maximum size. So i guess it can kinda be called an asterioid cuz its only a size thing but its definitly not a comet.

I think Rosie O'Donnel should be classified as the 11th planet.

Damn, I totally forgot about her. She's totally planet sized. I had kinda repressed the memory of her on account of the horror.

Comets only have tails when they are very close to the sun. Even for astronomers thirteen billion kilometers is a long way away. Additionally the definition you linked is a layman's definition and does not actually offer any method for determining whether a body is an asteroid, comet or planet. Astronomers still cannot agree on a strict definition of a planet. There are many who want to remove Pluto from the list.
