Yahoo tries to catch up to speed.

    Yahoo tries to catch up to speed.

    Well people its final. Yahoo mail has upgraded to 1 gigabyte in its attempt to catch up to google and gmail.

    Of course gmail responded with upgrade its mail space to 2 gigs and its still going up! (bigger than yahoo mail plus right now!)

    And our final contestant, hotmail (or msn) is still at 250 megs.

    Just thought to share the news. :)

    I use the regular yahoo one for business emails and it has never been at more then 75%. I also prefer sending video and other files using msn or whatever but that is just me. I guess I can see your point.

    gmail doesnt have any graphical ads while free yahoo mail does.

    Those get kinda annoying for people on 56k.

    I have 2 GB hotmail emial space. How on earth am I suppose to use that much space. I could barely fill 2 MB.

    im on gmail .. its a lot faster it seems than my old hotmail account, probably due to no ads.

    For some reason I still have only the 2mb hotmail account. Each morning it's 98% full due to spam.

    Actually, Gmail accounts are over 2 gigs now. They have a cool counter that just keeps going up.

    Yup its called "Dynamic Space" was introduced on 1st of April.

    Anyway the Yahoo new services look very... similar to Gmails features :p

    i have an excite account, hotmail and school email accounts. hotmail is the email i use to sign up for things on the net. Excite is my primary online email and the school email is for school. i don't need more passwords to remember.
