Yahoo mail weirdness

Recently, every time I log on to Yahoo mail, I get this little pop-up within the window that seem like someone trying to chat with me. I don't get any repeats once I close it for that particular log on, but it's still annoying. Any idea what they are and how to stop them?

Some web pages open and close a little applet window when doing their initial load, maybe that is it? If so I have no idea how to hide that process.

I'm not sure exactly what it is, but I'm guessing it's the sort of thing you can't really "fix". Maybe greasemonkey could, but you'd have to know what you were doing.

Personally I'd just switch to GMail or something if it was really annoying.
