WW-sin wirlwind weapon speed?

So i heard from a guy that you dont have to care about the attack speed on the 2nd claw on a ww-sin. is that true? cause i have nice ethernal cruel scissors suvayyah with very nice dmg but it has no ias. does it matter? if so what ias should it have for best ww??

Bartucs and War Fists(with at least 30% IAS), Scissors Suwayyahs/Suwayyahs(with at least 20% IAS) are just some of the other claws that are able to reach the maximum WW speed."

yes offhand claw does matter, people should look in FAQ sometimes.

Each claw is checked independently. Both claws have to reach the break. This was debated a good deal but finally settled a while back. I think rikstalker or someone has it in their history very specifically.

With your claw, just socket it with one Zod and one IAS jewel. You're only screwed if it has one socket.

better yet socket it with zod than use unsocket recipe you will lose the zod and it will still be ethereal though. So now you can but something else it. ed or resist

Better yet don't because it was patched.

It was a pretty common dupe on europe in 1.09 and its obviously created since +claw mastery cant spawn on elite claws.

If I understand it right (which is somewhat iffy), you won't be able to have 3 sockets on the same item that can spawn tier 1 skills (CM/FB/TS/...). The trick is being able to reroll a white item (kinda hard to do) to even get a grey 2s elite with CM.



Note/explanation - You'd have to repair a "broken" elite, since the cube recipe changes it to ilvl 1. Then reroll it somehow, which might be possible making it magical, but ilvl 25 or 30 depending on the recipe. Or, use the imbue quest with a level 1 character (don't remember if/how ilvl or clvl works in all this... it's just one big mess, honestly).

Rerolling with the 6 PSkull recipe would also work, but it still won't allow an ethereal magical claw to have +Claw Mastery.

If anyone has an elite claw with a tier 1 skill, I'd like to see it, because I'm fairly sure they can't exist.

I think the reason this is true is because tier 1 skills only spawn on low ilvl items which can't receive 3 sockets. As someone who VLLDs, I spent 2 years looking for a +3 axe mastery helm with 3 sockets. I learned that + axe mastery won't spawn on high ilvl helms, in fact it's pretty hard to find it on any helm past act 1 normal. I had to settle for a 10 fhr 3 axe mastery 2os helm.

Anyway, I'm not 100% sure but I'd be VERY surprised to see any tier 1 skill on an elite claw.
