ww barb proposal and questions

hey guys, I finally have decent enough gears to build a good barb but Im stuck on weapon/shield part because I am having trouble deciding wether I should use 1hand + shield or 2hand.

Gears that I have rite now:
180ed 6%LL Arreat
Angelic Ammy + Ring
250/20 Ravenfrost (Thx meph)
38/15 Verdungo (thx meph)
2 Pairs of mid Draculs (alternative choice?)
181ed War traveller
Archon Enigma (12xx+)
Stormshield (empty socket)
Eth Great Poleaxe (I can get 6 sockets from the quest)
2 Echo Swords

heres my problem:
1 Hand Ebotd Zerk w/ SS
2 Hand Ebotd Great Poleaxe

This build is 95% pvp and maybe pit run for fun. I prolly will duel casters and melee in pub and when ladder season is over, I will fight prolly in CH so I wont use Drac then. I guess my main problem is choosing between weap/shield or 2h weap.

You didn't mention your build.

Regardless, if you're going to do any pvp, it's always better to use 1h weapons. In melee, you'll need a weapon/shield (botd/storm), and against casters you'll want weapon/weapon (botd/beast, botd/wizzy, botd/silence, etc).

My build is Whirlwind
What bout Ebotd Great Poleaxe? Ill have pretty much base dex, str and mass vit and I can achieve like 9k hp this way?

You can go base dex with and extremely low strength using BotD/second weapon if you're just going caster pvp. Similarly, the extra hit chances per whirl and bonuses from the second weapon (damage/ar with beast, resists/mana/faster cast from wizzy) are much better than the extra damage from the big weapon.

As previously mentioned, you'll need a shield for melee, so that cancels the 2h option.
