Re: WTF? MMO players older, more educated, and more fit than nongamers?
maybe the office was a bad example to get my point across.
You say working out makes you feel better and enjoy life( I started working out recently so im not criticizing it) and that playing WoW for example doesnt do anything for you. NOT true. you cant look at it from your perspective( i think that it'd be a waste of my time too) but look through the eyes of the person playing. This is his "working out", this makes him feel better, this is what he wants to do.
You may say he has no life also, but how is this true when to him his life is fully satisfying?
See what I'm trying to say?:whistling:
EDIT: yes i can say that "wasting away" infront of the PC can be as meaningful as a succesful carreer. what if you dont want alot of cash? what if you hate work? then playing games may be your only joy in life(or whatever). You may not have a large impact on others lives, though it can be just as meaningful to you
