Would anyone love to to see D2 get a total re-skin?

Hey guys,

One thing I'd love to see is D2 to get a re-skin. No actual changes to the game or its mechanics but I'd love to see an extended stats screen. With elements like crit hit chance, life regen per sec, the damage you deal being broken in numbers, into physical and elemental. Much like in D3. Also being able to see the damage you deal shown on screen again like D3 and it being yellow when its a cric and say red when its a crushing blow!

Anyone else wanting to see this?

of course. I also just wish the LCS wouldn't be bugged like the rest of the game

Lying Character Screen

My no.1 wish is that they would fix the Anya bug. Then LCS being correct.

Extended stats is way down the list.

The Stats screen on GoMule helps a bit with FCR and FHR, but I have found it can be a bit buggy for resists sometimes.

A modern graphics/lighting update would be nice, as would be some flashier/greater effects. That's coming from my most recent play being Median XL. The graphics/spells are very flashy and cover most of the screen, which does lag my laptop a bit, but is still very well done.

As to showing damage and numbers/Crit notice on screen, not really. Some like it, which is fine, but to me, it's a little arcade-y.

LCS with more (and correct) detail would be nice, as would an updated skin/design/effects, but not with damage numbers/Crits flashing up on screen (personally.)

Pfft - it's meant to almost insta kill characters with max poison resist and no iPDR. What are you talking about - just cos you want to run Nihly.

I'd like a graphics update. Not remodelling anything, but adding higher resolution sprites so the game can be played at higher resolution without granting any advantages to players, e.g. keeping the field of view the same but adding more detail to every object so it looks good on big screens.

Not sure which one it is, but there's a mod or something that shows all the number breakdowns on the character screen. I've seen it in some videos. Shows MF, FHR etc etc. I'm sure it's part of a mod that isn't allowed on here but is obviously easy to do. No idea on the accuracy of it.

I use GoMule's stat page for that myself, but the resists are kinda wonky which makes changing gear around for resists a little more of a pain. Anything involving stats on the weapons seems to be connected to the wrong weapon switch a lot of the time also.

I just want to automatically pick up gold when I walk near it, as well as not have to hold down ALT to see items on the ground. I feel that the current Diablo 2 graphics are a massive part of it's charm, but it could use with being 'enhanced', just not updated.

I wouldnt mind some little things fixed, like left clicking an item puts it into stash and such.
