Worst Dueler Contest

So here goes: this may have been thought up before, but to my knowledge I invented it on the spot. Who knows. The concept is a tourny in which players construct the worst possible character builds. Players are allowed to mess with stat and skill points, but the characters must be naked. Because of the nature of the characters, they would have to be LLD'ers. Because of the nature of the tourny, they would have to be on separate accounts all by themselves.
THEN:

Players swap with their opponents, gaining access to the other accounts. They then gear up the characters, and head for battle, making do with whatever character they ended up with. Winners will emerge after an embarassingly hillarious duel ensues.

So....I'm digging it. The idea of a titan necro with points into terror and confuse amuses me. Amoung other things. Feedback?

Silly. You'd be lucky to even end up with a titan build. and can terror/confuse be reached @ lv 9? cant remember

Oh, my friend, there is no limit to the insanity. This could be the next big thing, with rich players competing in duels with level 85 terrible duelers. It would be the D2 equivalent of lighting a cigar with a $100 bill.

Except that that would never happen.

Oh, wait. I get it. The person who gets the character would be able to use the stats then. . _ .

Shouldn't be too hard to make like. A 9 into warmth sorc with all energy though. =]

There should be banned skills though. Like a lot of the barbarian's warcrys and some of the necro's curses. They just have absolutely no affect, it would be too much of a broken char.

The warmpth/mana sorc could me made to not suck. Find some stuff with +es, and make her a tank of some sort.

Oh well, everybody would just make a necro or something like that. Seeing as how any class with decent swing speed would be given max jewels and just dominate..

I think the use of Cracked/Damaged/Low Quality items should be available.

The final controller decides on the equipment. So you wouldn't want those kind of items on your character.

but if people are allowed to mass twink their gears

This would probably end up in max energy duelers stacking up with tons of +stat gear for griefs / shako / etc. etc.

Well, the op did say low level. Most HLD chars dont put any into str or dex so the only difference between this and regular dueling is that you'll have a lot more mana.

But yeah, Enigma would have to be banned. Torches, anni too maybe, etc.

I don't know if LLD would be as fun though. I wouldn't join if it was LLD just because it uses up the jewels and I don't really have the gear. :/
