The weapon its self is fast fast as all H*&**. When socted with 4 sheals. But it is weak.

Try working with a ebotd warspike. I say warspike because it has a -10 base speed for a weapon with 60% ias. So its fast but not as fast as a griz caddy. Also a griz caddy with 4 40/15 ias jewels will not have the same damage as a ebotd warspike.

I have never made a wolfbarb but I have made a good number of werewolfs. I find that they are my third best builds that I can do. Also try your hand at using big 2 handers. I have been able to do insane amounts of damage with them as a werewolf. Just keep your plus to skills up there. Also keep a point in battle commands for the plus 1 to all skills. Then add 1 point to nat. resists. Last but not least add the rest of your points in to increased speed. You will rune like the wind its self.

Armor wise you might find a light armor with a high amount of base def on it. With a enigma runeword in it. Giving yourself a larger amount of life which is even more increased by werewolf form. Look for armors like archonplate or great Hauberk with over 500 def when not getting sup +#%. If the armor has SUP on it make shure the def is way more then 501 GH or 524 AP.

Werewolfs stranghts are High life, Greats damage, really fast runwalk, and Attack ratting. You will be adding def, more run/walk, and more life to this. But because of the low skills you will have to make up for damage and attack ratting. Plus to all skills will help make up for that. SO make shure the helm you have has perfect plus to skills.

This is all from just thinking about what I would do. I hope this helps.

I'll answer these. My apologies for appearing rude. Also, I have read the guide, and all of these questions are in there except the Hel'd Arkaine's one.

Beast: It does, but the Fanat does NOT add to weapon speed. For Feral, only Weapon IAS matters. No outside IAS counts.

Hel'd Arkaine's: No, don't do that. If you are using SS, you will have enough STR for SS, which then in turn gives +30 STR. Hel'ing the Valor is unnecessary because its STR req falls within 156 and 186 (165, to be exact). If you are not using SS, then I could see hel'ing it, especially if it was your high STR piece of gear. Less STR = more life.

GF: You can use it, but it will be very slow. Also, you can weild two, but the second would just stay in your hand, not doing anything. Feral is does not alternate like a barb using frenzy does.

War Travs >>>>>>> Goreriders for wolfbarb pvp

you already have DS from highlords (i'm assuming) and mastery so you don't need more double damage

the open wounds on gores also don't make a difference unless you are 90+

Im thankfull for the answers but still has something to ask..
If i wear 2 beasts to prebuff with will the life stay?
if i wear a beast and attack with will i benefit from the life? doesnt that make beast a really good weapon for wolfbarbs then?
If i want to transform to bear wont that be an advantage? dmg + def?
What weapons should i try out if i dont find gris caduceus dmging enough?

(still thankfull for answers)

It really doesn't make a difference to your stats, it would actually be less compared to say 2 HoTO's becuase Beast only offer Lycanthropy while HoTO offers all. And Bearbarians hae a downfall to being a bear, theyr'e slower and have lower attack ratings. An Azurewraths Phase makes a decent choice as well, but if you went full mace, thats a bit more difficult.

Wouldn't a BotD phase blade work better than a warspike? It's only one frame higher than a grizcaddy with 4 shaels and provide more damage. Also, a Dusk Shroud Enigma would be a great choice also, as it can equal the amount of defense on a Archon plate Engima with lower strength which you could place in vit.

Using a High lord's is great, but Your attack rating will suffer without the Angelic set ammy and ring. Plus the Open wounds on the Gore riders will still be a great help even if your not lvl 90+. Also, War trav only gives +25%fr/w while Gore riders gives +30fr/w.

Suiginto Ya if you just compare avarge def from dusk vs archon plate. You will find that dusk is better because of stats. My point I was trying to get across was the idealy perfect armors. As in perfect dusk with 15% ed to def vs perfect archon with 15% ed def, dusk 537.05 vs archon 602.6. Ebotd phase blades bite because of the fact that a eth dim blade will do more damage vs a phase blade.

YA use the griz caddy till you get a ebotd warspike you will see what I mean after that.

Do not use the valor.

Also as some one that plays a werewolf I have found that the 40% runwalk and plus to life from aulders boots out ways the deadly and what not from gores. Just because I do 14k fury max damage as is.

well that's the problem it is! im Nonladder dec ;)
Oh damn then!

Then it seems like u have to settle with COH! It seems the best Melee armor on nonladder or maybe even Stone as alternativ 2! Or wait untill ladder reset! ;)
