Wizard Trailer Question

Hey guys, I am a new member here, but I've lurked since the announcement, hope you dont mind

Anyways...

In the initial Wizard trailer, she walks into the Cathedral/Dungeon and there is a man in front of it. He warns her not to go in and it will be the death of her.

So i was thinking, where does this man tie in? Is he just a villager like the man mortally wounded by the Butcher in the first Diablo? or is he a possible Minion?

I know I'm probably looking to far into it, but why not?

Welcome. As to that, I don't think they really put much thought into it. They just wanted an npc to show how others felt toward the wizard.

maybe when baal been killed, old baddie tyriel resurescted mariouse to suffer for more, so he stands put to cathedral, or what ever like last time, and warns? :crazyeyes:

It's just a guy. People from the Blizzcon demo actually said that a dying NPC like the one from Diablo was outside the entrance, warning about Leoric.
