Wind Druid for PvM?

I noticed that the wind druid guide was for PvP. Was wondering why 6k damage tornadoes was not that good. Considering I have a lightningzon with <2k damage on LF :p

Windy's make very good PvM characters.

They use pretty much the same exact equipment as a H'din. Just do less damage.

Yeah they're basically a hammerdin, except more resistable, 1/2 the damage, and with cyclone armour and sage instead of holy shield and conc. On the other hand a reaper's toll on your merc means you can buff your damage unlike a hdin. Lightning fury is a comparison with absolutely no value whatsoever. Windy's are good in pvm, not quite up there with the javazons, light sorcs and hdins but still in the second top tier I'd say with necro summoners, trapsins, fire sorcs, etc.

Next Delay, IIRC, means that successive attacks will not damage for a short time.

e.g., a WoF trapsin does not constantly hit it's target, they are "invulnerable" for a short time.

I'm pretty sure the NHD is on the individual nados. Of course my knowledge of the mechanics of d2 says that NHD affects any spells/skills that have NHD on them.
