Wind druid for hell baal?

Do any of you use a wind druid to run hell baal?

if you do, what kind of equipp and merc do you use?

tired of sorc, and dont want a hammerdin. Hoping windy will be fast enough.

While I cannot tell you from personal experience since I have never made a wind druid, they tend to be very good all around characters especially if equiped well. A lot of people use them for mfing and for rushing.

I have wind lvl85 and he can kill baal hell (1player game) without problem but I had to use a teleport amu. If you tele next to him then you have merc + grizzli on him and can kill him easily. running to him was almost impossible, but I can not have the right techniq

repear toll is not mandatory but very very usefull for your merc.

i have just got the runes to make my first enigma so getting there should be easy.

my merc will be using shaft,gaze,reapers toll.

Have you ever considered an upped or etheral duriel for your merc? Great defence, life, res and cannot be frozen which helps a lot imo

Putting some crushing blow on your merc (Duress armor, Guillame's Helm, etc) to go along with the Reaper's will make it go a lot faster.

Guillame's Helm will be used by merc the i guess. since the reapers allready give life leech.

I cannot run Hell Baal everytime..it kinda depends on the rolls I get. If WSK3 is filled with Harlots and ghost, a pretty mix of Phys Immunes and CI's, it is just too hard to get at them. Even with a Reapers on a merc and a Shaft on him, he dies to easily there.

Funnily, Gloams haven't been a problem, not even dolls so far...but of course OKs will be a pain (again for the merc and Grizzly).

for ma windy i didnt want to go with the most common of merc (a2) so i went with a5 cos ther big and funny...plus ther awsome taks, especially in baal runs with all those different monsters that pack a punch.

he uses botd cb eth stone and guilliams or however u spell it.
