will I have enough to max...

Hi Fellow Barbs,
I'm currently at lvl44 and have sword mastery MAXED. Now, I want to max WW, Berserk, and BO. Since i'm at lvl 44 will I actually have enough skill points left to max them? If I can't I'd prefer to max Beserk and WW.
Also, My dex is at 110 and my strength is at 105. I intend to use two-handed swords so should I raise my dex any higher or leave it and put the rest in Vitality and Strength? I only want to raise my strength high enough to wear sacred plate or Tyreals Might. I believe thats strength requirements at 230. Thats a lot of points.

I prefer to WW and mainly want to max Beserk to just lay waste to the immunes and Bosses with as few hits as possible. It'd be cool to say," Now you see Diablo, hit hits later,Now you don't."

Damage baby Damage.

All replies welcome.

3 maxed skills =60 points In total you can get up to 110 skillpoints so depending on what else you have sunk points into you could max those four. But why would you want to bother maxing berserk and ww. I'd stay just ww and put 1 point in berserk. If you have some + skill items 1 pt in berserk is all you need to handle pi's.

Tyraels Might has -100% req's right? so you wouldnt need 230 str for it....but then again..good lucky gettin one..pretty expensive nowadays..

str = dmg
you're saying "damage baby damage"

I thought the more points in Beserk the stronger the attack. Like all the other skills. Magic damage rules.

Thats why.

magic dmg is great, ok, but it makes your defense drop to 0, no matter what armor you're using you'll have 0 defense when doing beserk, dont forget that :p

if you max shout instead of berserk, the benefits are two-fold: you get increased defense from shout when not attacking with berserk, you get a huge dmg boost to berserk with the shout synergy allowing just a 1pt investment to be enough.

At lvl 44 with only one skill maxed, where in the world are the rest of your skills? the typical and efficient use of skill points for most ww barbs is max bo, ww, shout, mastery (in that order normally), everything else as 1 pt wonders. Anyways, assuming you get to lvl 85, that's another 40 points and something like 9 points from quest rewards. You'll have enough to max two more skills. So, either you've been peppering your skills, not a good idea, you've not spent all your skills that your level would suggest, or you've started maxing something you haven't mentioned.

Maxing berserk is fine to do if thats what you want but if you do that there is no reason to max ww. You should never max 2 combat skills just decide which you like best and go from there. Check the the stickies for good builds for a ww barb and berserk barb and see what you like more.

Your right of course I put 1 point in Iron skin in order to get to natural resistance which I dropped 9 points in. I also put 1 oint in BO but wanted to get the combat stuff out of the way hence my interest in Beserk and WW. I've already maxed my sword mastery and put 1 point in concentrate in order to get to Beserk. Now that I know about Beserk I won't max it ,but, what to do... Shout or Concentrate?

well, if you max out bo, then you've got yourself a nice bonus to conc. The same 200%ed that shout gives to berserk. That's more than enough %ed to be used as a backup skill. It will have a better single hit dmg than a maxed ww, though it'll hit at least half as fast.

Mastery is always something I finish off last, since it gives less of a bonus to dmg and ar than the combat skills. Also, that 9 point investment into natural resist is a bit hefty, since anything over 5 points (after +skills) gives less of a bonus than 5 res all small charms. Taking away some points in there would give you more room to max the big 4.
