Will Diablo3 sport a combatlog/onscreen numbers?

I was curious to know. For the many dedicated gamers out there, min-maxing is a big deal. I was curious on several things:

EDIT: Before posting, make sure you go to google and type in the search bar "Define: Toggle".
If your counterargument for the combat log is you don't want to see numbers, you must also explain why a toggleon/off feature won't suffice.

EDIT: On-screen damage done in real time is currently implemented but is limited to crits and such. If you do NOT want to see on-screen numbers as well, please go to google and type in the search bar "Define: Toggle". If your counterargument for on-screen numbers is clutter/lack of immersion then please explain also why the toggleon/off feature won't suffice.

1) Will there be a combat log? Much akin to WoW? Seeing how much damage I'm doing compared to another person is always a helpful bit of information when trying to improve yourself as a character in a DPS-driven game. Or even seeing WHAT exactly killed you, helps you understand how next time to approach a situation. This makes for deeper, more tactical approaches to combat.

2) Will there be an option to show ALL damage that I do, and my summons as well? I really like to see the kind of damage I'm dishing out at all times. I'm referring to real-time numbers that are displayed on screen on every hit/skill/spell done by me and/or summons under my control.

3) I do not however want to see the damage of my partners in game with me as it can become extremely crowded. If I do, I should be able to check the combat log (assuming there is one to be implemented).

Thanks in advance. Please go to this thread http://forums.battle.net/thread.html?topicId=18031184521&sid=3000 and put in your opinion, read posts by me and Zinras.
