will a heavy armour effect ww atack speed

i am making a titan ww barb and was planning to use a heavy armour i know i will walk slower but will i still get the 4 frame attack check. (will use botd ghost spear)

Armor types don't affect your attack speed, run/walk affects how fast your whirlwind moves... so I've got no idea on this one.

Armor type only effects walk/run speed, not attack speed. The movement of your WW will be slower, but the amount of hit checks you get will be the same. Some would even say that moving slower with WW is beneficial.

It's standard procedure to post even if you have no clue then whine when people say you're wrong ^^

And yeah gpa > gs in both looks and requirements

i was just looking i got the dex req mixed up its too high, gpa is sounding much better.

completly diferent question but is it worth having combat gc's for the ww dam or would i be better getting masteries (stone skin, nat res and ofcouse mastery) or warcry skillers for shout//bo

For a titan I recommend highlords and gores, which means no angelic jewelery nor hsarus AR bonus. In that case AR/life charms will be your best setup.

with ww wont the ias form highlords be wasted, i like the deadly strike but i think metalgrid would be better because of the ar and res.

also what merc i heard might is the best for titan but what about defience together with iron skin, shout and forty sacred armour the def should be enough to cut down hits taken quite a bit. (or does ww affect defence)

Yes, IAS from highlords will be wasted, but it will still be useful vs physical immunes.

Might merc is nice. Give him a pride polearm. Forget defiance and iron skin and all that crap. Defense is irrelevant in pvm. It's leech what'll will keep you alive. WW does NOT affect defense. Running does, though (auto hit).

does that mean that if i ww with my char running i have 0 def but if i walk and ww it still works, or does it always work when ur in a ww

Block/def always works when you're whirling no matter if you have running or walking turned on.

No. It only affects the speed at which you go from A to B while whirling.

Block/def always works when you're whirling no matter if you have running or walking turned on.

he's going on about a two hander build though so he wont have to worry about running vs walking.

No, ww has a state of it's own separated from running and walking (like charge).
