I think the data Dredd provided during the massive DC Tests is as close as you're ever going to get to "scientific" proof. A lack of funding (SoJs) had also severely restricted the comprehensiveness of the tests. If you had any understanding about scientific methods and it's applicability to something like DC, you would surely understand the complications.

If you believe you can come up with a better supported thoery for either DC Spawning or Item/Rune Poofing, then by all means do so. If not then stop critisizing other's work. Not only does it make your look like an ***hole, it makes you look pretty dumb too.

You promised proof, you just vomited some crappy RAW data and a lot of conjecture and flimsy theory, no proof just excuses. I accuse YOU of bloviating not any community, because unlike you and some of your brown nosing worshipers, i dont live for acceptance in any forum, I dont care if you dont like my dissagreement with your unscientific hodge podge, if you want everyone to kiss your bum make your own forum and then you can boot anyone that dares to question your methods, lack of data or even honesty. You would think that at some point during the schooling it requires to become a plastic surgeon, that one would at least pick up some basic English skills, or at the very least the correct spelling for simple medical terms such as 'aneurysm'.

On topic, in no way would the 'theory' impact the multiplayer community at all.

Are the spawning of clone in different games on same server just coincidences, that does not mean at all that which server you are on has anything to do with it? He personally PROMISED me a deluge of FACTS and PROOF that would shut me up and once in for all force me to jump on his bandwagon, as well as eating a big batch of crow, He Never did offer it, just excuses how windows ate it (seriously). In many other instances we two have flamed each other and mine bieng the minority view got the most flames since of course its so popular to not actually look at opinions just jump on a bandwagon and flame away.

I have admitted in several times that I dont KNOW for a fact how DC spawns and since I gathered over 48 Annihilus in games where No sojs were sold i had my doubts, (heresy), my whole contention was that Dredds methods were unscientific and 90% conjecture and opinion NOT all FACT, of course this brings the little flamers out in droves. I question his small sampling and testing only on west, as well as the incredible ammount of "opinion" "guessing" and the filling in of huge gaps with "well obviously it has to be this or that" in order to try to flesh out some flimsy hodge podge.

If he had said "well this is what I found out and what I did" and not stated it was the holy grail, then i would have supported him, instead he started the name calling when I questioned his THEORY and methods, then the little hangers on joined in and got the ball rolling.

a few days ago i made a MF game and immediately DC walked, it was one of the deadest nights i have ever seen on line the anni was crap so i told the 12 ppl in USeast trading where it was and no one bothered to go get it. DC still walks he might be ONLY spawned by SOJ sales, but I still have my doubts, its not supported in my experience, but then i dont claim my experience is PROOF of anything, just what I saw.

I have seen DC walk in dozens of games where no one sold sojs and no soj message was ever displayed. Many times I would make a MF game and kill Shenk/Eldritch/Pindle/ Council/ meph/ Diablo/Baal/Andarial/Pit and before I had finished this DC was walking with no soj count. Dosent prove anything I agree, but it is why I question the godly Dreadd THEORY, so sue me=)

So have I, so have alot of people. This was covered in the data, at least briefly.

Also, I never said that soj selling was the only way to force-spawn DC; only that it is the only known method. The World Event page on this site as well as many forum members were seriously doubting that sojs had anything to do with spawning DC. The focus of my test series was to address those doubts. The results? Sojs trigger the World Event. I realize that you don't trust the authenticity of those tests. I'm sorry you feel that way. However, I have absolutely nothing to gain by fabricating those tests. So why would I lie?

As far as other people flaming you for your dissenting stance ... well, I'm sorry for that too. Nobody speaks for me, I speak for myself. I think some people are turned off by your manner of posting, which even you have to admit is often insolent, inflammatory and needlessly sarcastic. I have a difficult time showing you respect when you refuse to show any to me. This has been going on for months now and frankly, I'm sick of it. It's bordering on harrassment.

Eating Crow: My idea was to simply gather up some sojs and bring you along to see the whole World Event unfold with your own eyes. That was going to be my special treat for you. Apparantly, you were under the impression that I was going to post more data in a thread. I'm not. I'm through with Clone farming for now ... at least until next ladder season (where the perimeters of the event may change to reflect the decline of duped sojs to sell).

A short while back, you mentioned in a thread that you play on USE. That put a damper on my plans to bring you along for a spawn since I happen to play on USW. I could always rush you up a temporary account if you would like to come along. You are free to PM me with a list of possible available times and maybe we can work something out. I'd like to put this whole issue to rest once and for all. There's no reason why we can't be friends.
