Why run Thresh Socket?
I now, another anoying noob thread. But, I've been running him lately, and got quite some good stuff. I have done about 1,500 runs now, and here are the results (in order found):
Lo Rune (Thresh Socket)
IK Forge (Thresh Socket)
IK Stone Crusher x2 (Thresh Socket)
Jah Rune (Thresh Socket's Evil Urn) [Stopped my heart from beating]
IK Will (Thresh Socket)
IK Soul Cage (Thresh Socket)
(I have the screenshots, but haven't gotten an image hosting site account yet, If I can, I'll get an account and post them. Mainly the Lo + Jah + IK Soul Cage screenshots.)
Along with several elite uniques such as Flamebellow, and some other elite sets. I only mentioned the ones I kept (Ran with IK barbarian, so IK stuff). I found numerous low runes and other sets some look for, but no screenshots because they were no use.
Character Statistics:
Class: Barbarian (IK Melee)
Level: 81
Magic Find: 249%
Players Setting: 1
Diablo 2 - LoD information:
Realm: Single Player
Version: 1.13c
I consider myself pretty lucky since I've seen several threads with people doing 1000's of runs and the highest rune being a Ko, and no IK Soul Cage after 7000 runs.
So here are my questions:
1. Are my finds below/above average, or average? (Pretty much, am I lucky?)
2. Has anyone else tried running Thresh Socket? If so, I would like to know the number of runs, players setting, magic find, and any runes/good items found.
So overall, I would consider running Thresh Socket because he's easier then Pindleskin, he can drop decent stuff, I got a Jah rather than running Lower Kurast for 1 month to cube a Cham (which I did
).
