why is crushing blow so good for smiter?
why is crushing blow so good for smiter?
why is crushing blow so good for smiter?
using that here's some numbers:Module88 said:1/20 of their life before smite damage if they have 50% Dr.
thats not what i meant, i meant you could consider the third number as the amount of damage that would show up on you character screen, if crushing blow added a straight amount of damage, rather than take a % of liferaphiel20 said:dont forget to divide the smite dmg by 6 cause the pvp penalty, not sure if u did or not but i though that 3.2k smite dmg after penalty in pvp was abit high

That doesn't make any sense. The smite damage would always be the same. Simply adding the CB modifier to the character screen throws off your calculations for several reasons. One, it is already affected by the penalty, so if you add it to the CS, you are putting a double penalty on it. Two, it happens before your smite damage, without any penalties. Because of that, it doesn't give you "more smite damage." It drops their life before you smite, and there's a big difference. Your calculations are way off as well, and isn't even close to the actual damage you will be dealing.jumbo_SHRIMP said:using that here's some numbers:
opponent life/damage done by cb/amount of damage as if it were on cs
10k/500/~6k
5k/250/~3k
2k/100/1.2k
1k/50/600
500/25/300
thats damage added before your normal smite damage...so lets say you have 2k damage smite, if you have a 10k life opponent, itll be like youre doing 8k damage...while vs a 2k life opponent youre doing 3.2k damage

It doesn't make sense because it's utter crap. He doesn't need to know how much it "appears" to be doing and all you seem to have done is confused everyone. All he really needed to know is what I said and he can do the calculations himself. But he surely doesn't need to know it actually does 6k on your character screen with smite after the penalties (as if people have that much life anyway without a good oak+bo+base life, which= teams). CB adds 1/20 damage of your opponents life if they have 50% dr before smite damage. End.jumbo_SHRIMP said:yes it does:
10k(the amount of life opponent has)/500(the actual amount of damage crushing blow adds BEFORE your smite damage)/~6k(the amount of additional damage you would need on your character screen to be equivalent to the amount of life lost by crushing blow)
how that not make sense?

Yes, but you gave irrelevant numbers. TMI. =/jumbo_SHRIMP said:i said same thing, there were just numbers there to illustrate

False.Ganga said:Because, ONLY crushing blow work with smite, NOTHING, i mean nothing else will add damage to smite, now what's your question again?
