his post was offensive, and i warned him, yet he completely had disregard and disrespect and made another offensive post, so i reported him.

the site does have a policy. part of that policy involves civil behavior. being rude, dispectful, and insulting is not acceptible civil behavior, nor does it contribute to constructive discussion.

QFT. Just keep reporting posts you think are offensive and eventually the mods will learn you ignore you crying wolf. Either way, Hege, stop trying to threaten people. The mods have basic common sense.

But accoriding that virus theory Hegemon, i must say i disagree.
Its a rather common view by the way. With all the beauty and flaws which come with it.
In other words its very superficial.

We have learned long ago that we have to care for our cattle (not just eat it), that we have to switch fields for grain so the earth can regenerate otherwise it becomes useless for years. We re much smarter than any parasite.
Even if you take say dags and monkey they would eat all the food they get. But men would devide everything to survive the longest time.
But even this discussion is actually OT.

The goal was to find a profitable reason for space travel.

You'd also need a place to actually go to. The moon and Mars are nice as a novelty kind of thing for a holiday, but personally I wouldn't want to live there.

It was ****ing 1997 and the game had graphics we Couldn't match til Tiberium Wars.

It also promoted some third rich style units where if you where insane enough to put 1000 units worth of time and resources into building one big robot you would have a monster that just walked around absorbing all damage and shooting missiles at anything within 2 screens. Those Krogoth bastards where untouchable.

But just like the new game "supreme commander" I liked that you could build these "Game Ender" weapons that took tons of resources and even more time to build but once it was done you had some freakish chain gun that spewed full auto nuclear artillery shells across the entire map and just bombarded the enemy base.

That's just it. the Commander games where just as balanced. Heck every side had these game ender weapons but building them in multiplayer was hard. The things break easy and when they do they blow up and take everything nearby with them.

One side can build a structure that gives you infinite resources but when that thing blows up it takes everything on the screen with it and it's a fragile structure, a few stray enemy bombers and you're ****ed. So there was balance to these weapons aswell.
