Why cruel world, why?

I've been very little to hell, since I don't have that man high level chars. So I'm poor. Pul is alot for me

Then I modify a char on single player and toy aroundwith him. I do a nightmare baal run with 25% mf, and what do I get? A unique grand crown! First I thought it was a CoA, but then I got relieved and remember that CoA was a corona. But I still got a crown of thieves. And then when I checked the arreat summit, it had to be a high roll. 193% ed, 96% goldfind! Then, in the same wave i find a jewel. I identify it, and it's a 37% ed jewel!

Ok, I know this question belongs to the trade value forum, but I don't want to make a new thread.

So, how much were the items worth (meaning what did I lose)?
Anyone with a similar experience?

Both the items are worth less than pul, I believe. Not sure about crown of theives, but I don't see it going for more than a couple dozen pgems (I'll have to check though). I see 39% plain ed jewels traded at a dozen or so pgems, so 37% is even less.

It probably doesn't make things better :\

Ok, I know this question belongs to the trade value forum, but I don't want to make a new thread.

I don't understand this. If all you want to know is the value of that CoT, why do you make a thread here at all ?

There's nothing cruel about the world with that find. A CoT is an excellent drop for nightmare Meph and he is far away from being able to drop a CoA. Among the act bosses, only hell Baal can drop it.

Whatever, that helm is worth 5-10 pgems. Perhaps a 100% GF one is worth more. Use it on a merc or on a goldfind character.

Um, I also wanted a discussion at the same time, so that's why I posted here.

I didn't mean that the drop was bad, I meant that it was in single player, so those items could've increased my wealth, instead of a single player char who can neither sell it nor use it

Better than finding a Magic (Blue) Shako, Spiderweb Sash and Gilded Shield all with double durability all in the same run!
