The other day i entered a trading game called "Pgems 4 items". I only had 3 Pgems and 3 flawless gems (im a noob lvl 22 necro) but i entered anyway. The guy showed me magefist gloves and i showed him my gems, then i asked if he had any necro amulets. He said he did and left. Then came back with a lvl 66 necro and we went to the trade screen. He said he couldnt let the amulet got for only some Pgems( it was +3 to summoning skills and some other stuff). So i offered my 3 flawless gems and i said i had some ral runes. They were my highest level req. runes at the time. He immediatly showed interest, but said he still couldnt let his ammy go, but he offered me TRANG'OULS ARMOR! I was like damn! So i traded 3 pgems, 3 flawless gems, and 3 rals for trang armor. Isnt trang armor like 2nd only to godly things like enigma? I think i got the better part of the trade. I also already had trang gloves from trading my sigon gauntlets for them. So now i got 2/5 of Trang set! He said he would never ahve traded the never the armor if i didnt have the ral runes. I thought they sucked? Can someone fill me in plz?

They're used in quite a few popular crafting recipes: Hit Power Boots, Caster Ammy, Blood Helm, Safety Gloves

Next time...just offer a lower amount depending on the item that is...and collect all the ral's you can get your grubby hands on...as well as perfect gems...trading 40 can get you better items fast.

Trang armour isn't very special, I traded it for 10 pgems some time ago. I never found one myself but it's something that people who do a lot of Meph running find more often then they need. From the Trang set, the belt and the helmet are more expensive. I traded them for an Um each, last ladder season.

I think Fear is still kinda new to the game Baboon...judging by the excitement shown about the trang's armor.

I would've been estatic had I found a Trang's armor at the beginning of ladder. +2 summoning = <3

Hell, I would've been happy to find a Diggler.

how did you lose your old ladder wealth? I heard about ladder seasons, is that how you lost ur wealth? Im not sure what a ladder season is, but is it a like 3 months of ladder gaming then it resets and deletes all of your ladder characters? If that is partially correct, when does the ladder season we are in end?

Yeah I lost my wealth when the ladder season ended.

AFAIK, ladder seasons work as follows:

* Blizzard announces their intention to finish the current ladder season, by advertising it on their sites (I found out via battle.net). AFAIK this is not at regular intervals, but is solely at their discretion. However, I'm pretty sure a season lasts a lot longer than 3 months.

* After a period of time (again at Blizzard's discretion), Blizzard turn all existing Ladder characters and equipment into non-ladder, meaning that anyone who wishes to continue playing on ladder must begin building characters from scratch. They also clear all ladder rankings, meaning that the competition to be at the top of the ladder begins again.

Not totally sure of the recipes but I think rals are also used for upgrades for one of the equiptment types and/or add sockets to non magicals as well (great for those white wands) as well.
