So, what is the absolute dumbest thing you've ever done?
I normally like to consider myself a rational person when it comes to deciding "Should I do this? Or, is this one of those things that could earn me a Darwin award?"
So about half a year ago, me and my best friend figure it would be a good idea to do a little racing. So there I was, driving in my VW Golf at about 130 km/h on a country road, side by side with my friend - me on the wrong side of the road - going up a hill about to reach the crest. And, just in case you're wondering, no I couldn't see over the crest of the hill until I got over it.
It didn't hit me until after I had done it, but that was pretty damn stupid. I mean, I knew I shouldn't have done it before hand, but the sheer stupidity and danger of it didn't hit me till after... luckily, before a car did. That country road was actualy fairly frequently used. At least one car every few minutes or so, and there I was going up a hill the wrong way travelling way, way too fast.
So that was the dumbest thing I've done on my short stay here on Earth. How about you?
