Who gives the better id?

    Who gives the better id?

    ive been wondering whether when an item takes on its qualities. is it when it drops? or is it when it gets id'ed? does the game generate an items stats better if i id from a scroll? a tome? from cain?

    The stats is determined when it drops, so where you id it will make no difference..

    its def whne dropped that itme mods are determined (i had a char get rolled back shortly after a merphi run and the found itmes became unid again, whne reided they had identical mods (was plesantly suprised i didnt lose thme)
