Who are those two men standing outside the Caldeum?

Hello everyone,

I've been away from the game for over 5 years now. Reading all these speculations and storylines has really got me hooked!

Could you experts help me identify those two men standing outside the Caldeum on the D3 official page?

One is wearing a crown hat and has got a sword stringed to his waist. His clothing and cape shine like a wealthy individual. The other appears to be a solder weilding a big paladin-like shield and a very long spear. They seem to be discussing something important in the picture.

realy, i have no idea...i don't realy think that they are anyone we've heard about before...

My guess is members of Caldeum's city guard.
The pope like one with the Mitra on his head a high ranking captain or something and the shield/spear bearer one of his subordinates.

Dunno why they're outside of Caldeum though, maybe they're one of many patrols doing their duty outside of Caldeum's city walls or they're scouts looking for the next desert raider camp to wipe out, as those dirty bastards have taken it a bit too far lately, with all those ambushed caravans and kidnapped travellers.

I agree with refes, bar the pope like captain. I think its more likely hes either a Vizjerei or a Yshari
