white vs hoto

hello I was just wondering if everyone thought

darkforce/aracs/mages/20fcrammy/hoto/shako/sojs
or
darkfoce/aracs/mages/20fcrammy/white/and a 20 fcr circlet or 2 10 fcr rings

would be better. Both get but with whtie you get like 3 mroe spear. Thanks

HOTO is an acronym for the runeword Heart Of The Oak

Heart Of The Oak
+3 To All Skills
+40% Faster Cast Rate
+75% Damage To Demons
+100 To Attack Rating Against Demons
Adds 3-14 Cold Damage, 3 sec. Duration (Normal)
7% Mana Stolen Per Hit
+10 To Dexterity
Replenish Life +20
Increase Maximum Mana 15%
All Resistances +30-40 (varies)
Level 4 Oak Sage (25 Charges)
Level 14 Raven (60 Charges)
+50% Damage To Undead

I definitely think that the HOTO option is better, more mana and more resists, very nice.

I am assuming you are going vita with base dex as darkforce has sucky blocking? It all depends on what kind of white u make i think - godly ones have more than just +3 to spear (+8 max) and also 2 sojs give you +2 all and %max mana. Also it could be that you plan to duel mages often with 125%fcr? If i were you i'd go with the shako/hoto set up with life, resists, etc. Oh hoto = heart of the oak runeword.

imo wizardspike > hoto > white

wizardspike: 50 fcr/ ****load of res and mana...

u dont need that extra 3 skills from hoto, in order to do good damage,

certainly if u exploit marrow bug...(which i dont)

but theres no real point in using a wiz spike since

hoto=40
gloves=20
belt=20
ammy=20
Df=30
soo 130 fcr and wiz would give 140 soo the 10 fcr wont make a difference
and idk but 3 skills to clay golems help a little.
