Which sorc is BETTER!!!!!!

i have a simple question?
i have made 2 sorcs a blizz and an fber. Ill jus run the stats by:

each have about 2k def{if it matters}
my fber does about 5-6k and has over 120 fcr
My blizz sorc does about 4k no facuets or charms for either
All the skills for each are placed correctly so its not skill matters?

so i need some opinions. WHICH ONE IS BETTER FROM THESE STATS TO YOU GUYS OUT THERE?

help me out

thanks
joe~

Blizz does more damage than displayed due to Cold Mastery. What is your slvl Cold Mastery? At slvl32 any monster int eh game, except Diablo Clone, will be reduced to -100% cold resistance, as off you will be doing double of the displayed damage.

I think this is more of a matter where you will use either of those sorcs. Both of them are great and can do all kinds of runs. For PvP i don't know.

imo blizz sorcs r good for pvm and fb sorcs r better for pvp.

if u use blizz in pvp u have to keep on tele and casting blizz and ppl will call u a noob.

a fb sorc is fine for pvm but meph is easier to kill in hell w/ blizz

Whats the FCR on your blizz sorc... I think that no matter what type of build you are, the rate at which you teleport at makes a huge difference. I agree with most and say that pvm is blizz and fb for pvp... this is provided that you have over 105 FCR on your blizz sorc.

I think FBall/meteor can kill meph just fine compared to iceblast/blizzard, I mean its only like a 2 second difference, is it really going to kill you?

meteor has a delay before it comes to the ground.. blizzard instantly appears and meph constantly moves. fb doesnt deal enough dmg so it gets really hard. therefore blizzard is better.

I don't get it - if you've already made them both why don't you just play them and see which one you like best?

When using the moat trick, Meph doesn't move out of the meteor's 'blast-range'. Plus, the fire-'after-effect' for meteor seems to stack, so if you drop 3-4 meteors in the same spot, he'll take sever damage per second as well...

I use fireball and meteor with the moat trick and sometimes have trouble switching to the mf set-up before he dies. You can cast meteor and then cast 2-3 fireballs in the delay then repeat. The meteor after effect does stack for the duration that the fire lasts although this only becomes noticeable after 4-5 have been cast. This is useful in games of more then say 3 people but if playing solo meph should fall quick enough anyway.

I have a 70+ meteorb, and I still find meph a pain. He moves out of the fire from meteor, has decent fire resists, and orb doesn't damage enough. I am making a blizz, so Ill have two excellent MFers who will basicly share the same gear.

Meteorbs more fun to play, cuz I like orb...
but blizz is probably more effective PvP and for certain runs. :yep:

so it's really all about what you use them for....

PS-If anyone wants to help me out, I've floated a topic about my new blizz. I'm new here, so feel free to share the nuggets of wisdom with me, thanks!

blizz is better, 4k blizz is way better than 6k fireball for both pvp and pvm, with fireball in pvp your only doing 250 actual damage to somebody with just 75 resists, fire is easiest element to sorb so expect to do no damage to half the people on b.net, too bad your mastery is only 15, mastery is better than synergies for pvp, not sure how the damage factors in for pvm, but still prob better than synergies. pvm, cold is far superior, the lvl 85 area near umm that act 1 quest(been so long since i been there) has no cold immunes as well as that place in act 2, dont think there is any 85 area with no fire immunes, blizz sorcs are less equip dependant, from your damage it sounds as if you have equipment issues, 4k blizz is decent, 6k fireball is dreadfull, cold all the way
