Depends what you want your sorc to do. If you are a pit runner or Baal runner I would suggest cl/orb. If you want to be a good meph runner then use blizzard.

I'd agree with the above on that one. FO/CL is also better for countess since she's always Fire and Cold immune.

    CL = Chain Lightning.

Well, as you appear to be a beginner with the Sorc, you should realize that when building a pure Blizzard sorceress you will have to tackel some obstacles before you reach the lvl where you can do the endless Meph/Pindle runs.

If you get rushed i see no problem since you wont have to deal with Cold Immunes yourself, but rather your Merc or Party member will tackle those. If you do it all by yourself, your Merc can do the Cold Immune killing aswell, but it will take a bit longer.

Good starter builds that can do Andy/Pit/Meph/Shenk/Eldritch/Pindle are
Meteorb or the CL/FO build mentioned above.

A full blizzard MF sorc for meph.
First use "ice ball", it is a synergy for blizzard, does good damage early on, and cost only 3 mana.
Get a rhyme shield, a 3 to cold skills orb, 3 ptopaz mask, 4 ptopaz armour chancies, goldwrap and some crapy mf charms, and you have about 250 - 300 MF for meph in NM.
    He can drop real good.
If you have a wizzardspike, you can use magefist and you can tele faster.
Some mana rings (100+) and yo have a fast and cheap MF'fer.
After then the good things come, and come, and you can build wathever you want.

Works for me, in HC, were the nice drops always are ethereal.

Because you will die, and loose itemss.

dont do meph runs, always do pit, read the guide and ull see why, imo way better, also i dont use them but id use fire, simply becuz u can pretty much make it thru the whole pit wiht fireball, stronger enemies, meteor, and if u run into alot of immunes i suggest orb or somethin, so pretty much orb/firebaal(or meteor) blizz is good but not the most accurate

Mhmm, Pits take longer to reap benefits but will give rarer items. Meph gives more items in the mid/high range of value, but not the very rarest. Depends on what you want to find i guess.

The build your are suggesting Hatebreed. is the Meteorb build which you can find linked in the "Guides thread" at the top of this forum.

Seriously, sorc is not built the best for pit runs because of immunes. Best bet would be a pali.

Meph runs and pindle runs are for sorcs. They dont have insane resists.

Meph you can do the moat trick and be completely safe.

I get unique elites/elite sets all the time with meph.

lvl ** pure fire sorc 500+ mf.

In my opinion you should never make a single element sorc. I run the pits alot in big games without a problem. I run it very quickly with CL/orb.
