Yes I mean the so called Uber-Tristram.
Yes I plan to play on the new ladder.
I have seen the guides but its still not easy comparing the two builds. Also how much skillpoints will go to shout and how much to dmg-synergies? I'm thinking I dont need faster run or more stamina either, saving two points.

i have a Frenzy that i intended on just running keys with, he has some key items i used for specified reasons, EBOTDCB..DMG Azurewrath, some skillz magic and sanc aura(important for many undead), Natures peace, Nith hates it. and HI-lords, i could run each in about 3-6 minutes and i decided to try mini-ubers...the only issue is my low rez aginst Lilith. i ran all 3 not dying once, SOOO i had an idea, i would rez my Ko windforced A1 merc and i would take on ubers, she lasted thru meph then i charged in, needless to say she didnt make it, and once the dracs proced it was just a matter of spamming frenzy with shift and a book, lol jk. it took about 15 minutes to solo uber trist all by myself, and all i got was this stinking 10/10 sin torch

Concentrate vs Frenzy
Conc gets bonus from BO which I would probably max anyway.
Conc gives you defense.
Conc gives you the opportunity to use a shield.
Frenzy has stronger and faster attack.
Frenzy works better against many enemies.
I think its gonna be a Conc-barb since the goal is to take on Tristram. He can focus on attacking the bosses while a frenzier would start swinging at the minions. Will be a pain to play him through the game though since every single monster must be clicked.

yeah it is true it would be faster to focus on the bosses, but if your AR is low(mine is only 9k) you wont hit the big guys fast and often enugh to refill you life, frenzy offers the speed and it switchs to minions, granted it does take long long time to finish trist compared to other builds

Before the ladder reset i had a Uber-Trist barb. He was a Frenzy Barb with great resists but poor AR. His gear was as follows.
Arreats (40%ed jewel)
Highlords Amu
Beast BA (primary weapon)
Death Cleaver (off-hand)
Fortitude
Verdungos
Dracs
Gores
Ravenfrost
Dual leech ring (totally not relevant, but gotta go with what you got)
2 x echoing weapons on switch
I only had 1 skiller, and the rest were +life/res charms
It does take a while, but in my opinion its better than the usual smiter uber-trister.
I wouldnt fancy a conc barb's chances in uber trist, but maybe its viable?
I'd say go frenzy though. If you go conc, you'll definately need a life tap wand, and if life tap wears off while you're attacking, you'll likely die before you can recast. At least with frenzy once your CtC lifetap kicks in, youre home free!

Similar set-up to yours (swaping death cleaver for ss)
It tanks, but it's really in-efficient.
I only ever solo Tristram with conc personally, and that's with 1pt in that skill with my ww BvB- so it's defineatly viable.

Well, since both builds works, i guess its just a choice of which you'll have more fun with.
Obviously if you want a speedy uber runner, barbs arent for you. But who wants to be "just another uber pala" anyway?
