Where can you get the WWS to drop?

Hey,

I'm just getting back into Diablo II, and I'm looking for a WWS for my new Strafezon. Where is the EARLIEST you can get one to drop? I would assume someone where in act 5.......

If you play on bnet - or even single player - trading for one is the best option. you can find one cheap and fast, while running one your self will take your probably longer.

Though if you really want to find one, download atma and use the build in dorp calculator - ignore the mlvl 110 diablo. Then you can find out yourself and make a plan.

Anyway, I can tell you this. Your best chance are nightmare mephisto first kill, and nightmare mephisto not first kill if first kills aren't an option. If you want to try your luck on regular monster, Nightmare cow level is the best place if you ask me, though the chances of find one is much smaller. On the other hand, there are much more cows in one game then there are mephisto's.

The best place for any specific item to drop is in the trade forums. Trying to find any specific item (even common uniques) can be a long and frustrating quest. A perfect WWS will cost you Pul or less, and any average or better WWS will be 10 to 20 pgems, so it is much faster to collect/trade stuff for pgems and buy one.

See, there you go. One is offered for free. I'll tell you that the only time I found one was on single player. Never found one on Bnet. I have had some given and traded for a couple. But as long as I have played, it has never droped on Bnet. Just take that free one or get a few pgems together.
