to final physical damage, so i guess thats the same as 'overall damage (char screen) - the ele/magic damage porion of it.Grobyc said:Does anyone know when does Critical/Deadly is applied? Is it the overall damage minus the elemental or to base damage, etc. etc.?
actually it is a little more complicated and i may even be wrong but i think the following is closer to the mark.....ToThePoint said:to final physical damage, so i guess thats the same as 'overall damage (char screen) - the ele/magic damage porion of it.
the chance of your zon doing double physical damage is....CS + (DS/100)*(100-CS)YogiRat said:Also both can't occur, no quadruple damage. It's one or the other. Critical is rolled first, if it doesn't happen, then Deadly is rolled. If Critical goes off, Deadly is not checked.
Zerk is doubled with a deadly hit, consistent with what he is saying (conversion skills do get pumped up by CS/DS). IIRC, magic arrow, fire arrow and cold arrow do too.superdave said:i believe that this is the only case where elemental or magic damage is doubled by a successful strike
ok lets use ma as an example.....the physical damage of the bow is added to all +physical damage items on the zon or in inventory...this damage is then multiplied by the dex bonus and any +% physical damage items/aurasGrobyc said:Isn't that because if it crits, the damage is doubled and then the damage is converted? Just kind of figuring if that is true.
And yes, you spelled vengeance correctly. Thanks for the help, guys.
Better check which forum im in next time^^superdave said:ok lets use ma as an example.....the physical damage of the bow is added to all +physical damage items on the zon or in inventory...this damage is then multiplied by the dex bonus and any +% physical damage items/auras
the + damage from ma is then added to the physical damage
this amount is then doubled for a successful critical or deadly strike.
from this total the converted magic damage is then calculated and deducted from the physical total....for example at lvl 20 ma 20% of all physical damage is converted to magic damage
hope this clears things up
