this was the best string of drops I've had since I started playing in 1.09My most memorable drop(s) was just one neat coeincidence. While Mfing Meph in Nm back in .09, i went over to ther armor shrine, and out dropped a Stealskull(38%). On my next meph run the armor shrine gave me another Stealskull, this time 48 percent. That armor shrine has never dropped anything for me, not even a rare, and then out pops the same unique back to back.

Last night I got a shako from Meph, and then an SS two runs later. I thought it was pretty sweet.

You see, i never have any luck at all with mfing ... except for this.
I was playing with a friend of mine (he was in act 2nm, i was in 5 leveling up for hell) i had been complaining about my might merc's pathetic damage, when at the same moment i hit enter to send the message, my merc killed a random act 5 monster, and out popped a hone sondan, not ethereal, but still a very solid weapon for him.
Never had any situational luck like that before =)

My most memorable drop was the Tal Rasha armor I found in hell cows in 1.09.
The reason was that this was a cow lvl gone bad with cows all over the red portal. I had my mf barb there for exp and was just about to quit when this green laquered plate drops. I was just 1,5 screens above the exit so I was kind of stressed out until I could recover the armor 3-4 min later. I don't think I've ever tried that hard not to get killed, but when I finally got it I was so happy I could sing.

A long long time ago, in the most early days of Diablo2... Me and a friend were playing alot together, me a paladin and she a sorceress. Exceptional items were still a myth... Leather armors with over 100 defense? *HAHA* Yeah right... After dying a dussin times to diablo we finally smoked him and ventured on to nightmare. Stories of hell dif was told, every monster there was lightning enchanted and could flip you up side down by just looking at you. My paladin was most happy with his newly found warsword with the massive one hand damage of 35!! People were sooo jealous of me and my massive yellow sword and I thought it probably was one of the best weapons ever in the whole game.
On to nightmare, act1 was rather easy and we went to act2 sewer system. I open a chest and a yellow warsword drops. 'May as well id it, even though it can't be better than what I got' -I thought to myself. My eyes popped... Just over 50 damage and with life leech!! I was convinced now. The best weapon in all the D2 world was now in my hands, none other could have such a great weapon. I even called a friend to tell him of the extreme weapon I had found... He asked me if I had taken my pills. :howdy:

well, mine came as i was jus kind of meandering around with my sorc. i cant even really remember where it dropped, i wanna say act 5 and im pretty sure it popped out of a jar, but low and behold came unto me a tally's lidless eye. i was stoked!! and then quite recently i was doing a shenk run and found naj's elder puzzler doo-hikky, which was also very nice.

lets see. my very first unique i found was my gull dagger, during 1.08. i used it on my barb till he was like lvl 20 something, because i couldn't find anything with good damage.
most memorable was probably an IST rune in hardcore...2 times technically, but i couldn't get them either time...well...i got PKed on one of them...some leecher stole the other one...he quickly was PKed.

Back in 2000 when I first bought the game and I located my first unique, and it was a Goldskin from some Unique Monster in Act 2. I was thrilled to have all that gold find.
In 2002, the impossible happened, the heavens parted and hell froze over. I was assisting someone through WS 2 when the holy of holies dropped...
ZOD I calculated the odds at around 33 million to 1. I quickly went out and bought a lottery ticket and found out I didn't win.

Playing my second single player character through normal(Sword Frenzy barb), I killed Norm Diablo and he drops a Set Amulet. Very happy because I had never seen a set ammy before, I ID'ed it and it was Tal's.
I thought, "Wow, that's a nice ammy, but I am not a sorc and it's level requirement is too high for me" and promptly sold it to Larzuk.
