As the title says, why is it so costly on trade forums?I assume it's the jewellers mod.... What items should have it? What is it used for? And so on... a detailed explanation is more then welcome:)

Jmod is the abbreviation of jeweler's monarch of deflecting, i.e. a particular combination of affixes on ashield which will benefit from the full bonus of the jeweler's affix (4 sockets), together with having a blocking bonus from the deflecting affix. Only one in about 15000 magical monarchs has that combination of affixes. They are usually used to insert (lightning) facets. You can't shop for them, as no vendor sells monarchs, so you either have to find them, cube them with the 3 pgem recipe or trade for one.

Quick question - is it not possible to gamble for them?

Yes, but you're going to have to gamble until the Judgement Day.

    Unlike finding HRs. :wink3:

Obviously trying to gamble with only one-specific affix/suffix set is always doomed to disappointment - just wanted to check it was possible, and I wasn't going mad. :)

And Monarch as elite shield has low chance to be gambled on top of it.
