Whats the worst day you've ever had?
Today wasn't the worst day I've ever had, but it was up there...
I had to wake up at 6AM to get ready for school, I was so tired when I crawled out of bed. I jumped in the shower, and I relized I had a headache (a day cannot be good if you wake up with a headache). I went to school and had to slave away there for about 5 hours.
Finally, after leaving that dreaded place I drove down to my girlfriend's house to see her (this was the high point of my day). We just watched TV together and talked, nothing special, but it was still good because I got to see her.
Then, after leaving her house I had to go into work. I really don't mind work, but today I was espically tired. After driving through about an hour of traffic, I finally get into work, were not that busy, but were steady. When I jump on to make pizza's, I relize that we are just about out of everything. Having to stretch frozen dough for just about every pizza is not an easy task.
And then, there is this semi-new employee, he is very mouthy and shows no respect to anyone. As I was very tired, he would not leave me alone and let me do my job in peace, he was constantly talking to me after I told him to let me do my job in peace several times. Everyone feels the same way I do, everyone finds him very annoying.
His job (self assigned) is usually the cut person (the person who cuts the pizza) no one has trained him on it, he just does it. He throws the knife up in the air and just screws around with it. 2 weeks ago, another employee who I am very good friends with accidently cut his finger very badly with the knife, he was not screwing around with it, he just made a mistake. Obviously, the knife is sharp and the screw off employee has no reguard for anyones safety.
I have talked with the manager several times, according to her, there is nothing she can do unless he is being rude to customers. I hate that guy, I was half tempted to lay him on his back tonight :rant:. Just venting after a rough day.
