what's the use of carrion wind ring

i just found one (unique ring drop so rarely..i just got a dwarf star & that)
and i was wondering in what was this ring better than a rare ring ?
i never see people mentionning this ring

    thx

(i know it's a dumb question but i like to know the value of this. Well since i'm poor i still can use it on my untwinked barb)

Not a dumb question. I wish people would stop demeaning themselves grrrr.

I can't remember the mods on the ring except charges of carrion vine and maybe life leech. I know that it isn't godly valuable though, sorry. You could ask the trade forums for p/c. Since you're still struggling, you could wear the ring until a better ring (rare or unique) drops for you. Or, you could make a sorceress and do key runs and trade keys for a better ring...

I am also poor, and I keep my carrion wind on my sorc for when I help my friends with ubers (especially lillith) because i need the poison resist. Other than that, I don't think it's all that great or tradeable.

It's nice on a melee character for the life leech and massive (~55%) poison resist. Also those twisters that are cast every few attacks stun monsters for a fraction of a second, mildly useful.
