It can reach 4FPA Fury with 3*ED/IAS ,which is why it's so popular.

Even more now since it has 4 sockets like Pent mentioned, leaving a free socket, which can be filled with Lo,Ohm,etc.

I believe someone made a thread calculating the dmg of gris would exceed that of a ccsq. Someone please correct me on this if I am wrong.

it can potentially have a higher damage than a ccsoq cuz of the wild 100-4000 damage thing on teh ccsoq and it has the spare socket for Lo wich brings the caddys POTENTIAL average damage higher than the ccsoq

overall ccsoq has the highest 4fpa damage

It's lower until you count the Lo rune which is hard to place a value on. Maybe Ohm would bring it higher as well I forget.

maybe this is somewhat OT, but what about fury fanged knife? i heard that can get 4fpa as well. is that correct? if so, knives sure look cooler than scepters (of course, that wouldn't apply to ww form...so looks are useless :grrr: ) though dmg wouldn't be as high as griz caddy i'd assume.

They are like 5-6 I think, and range one >_<
A cruel fanged of quickness with shaels is 4 frame though I think?
People used them because dex would add to the damage as well.

The FFK has same speed as E-Star, but less damage and less range. Its only pro is the Eth rune which helps you hit enemies with high defence.
Anyway, if you were really cool and needed an Eth-runed weapon, you would probably use a 4 socketed Grissy with 3x ED/IAS + Eth.

EDIT: Fenris, if you used an ED/Max jewel instead of the Lo rune in your caddy, a perfect weapon would have 207.5 damage avg, whereas a prefect CCSoQ has 213.2 damage avg. Not that much of a diffrence, when you think of the extreme rarity of a perfect socketed CCSoQ. An Ohm rune would give you 204 Damage avg, btw, and probably make you look more legit.
