Whats the best alternate spell for a Hydra Sorc?

I am making a Hydra Sorc to mess around with in PvP.

Now I know you Max Hydra, Fireball, Firebolt and Warmth to get Max damage but what about the remaining points? I understand you automatically get Chain Lightning as you need that to get Energy Shield but what about Frozen Orb?

Please advise on what is the best alternative spell to invest the last points in?

I don't play PvP, so take this advice with a big grain of salt...

- Thunderstorm (more cast-and-forget damage, and it auto-targets/hits)
- Enchant (if you're using a merc or doing 2vs2 duels or something... nicely synergized already)
- Teleport (lower the mana cost)

... those are the 3 I'd consider.

If im getting Thunderstorm should I put 1 point in Lightning Mastery too? I have a lot of +skills.

yes u should also dump a pt into LM if u go TS. I'd just be focusing on enchant and maybe use widow for some wicked fiery GA, lol.

Is it worth a few points in the cold tree to get Shiver Armor?

The only thing worth getting is chilling armor, and u can get that off a staff as prebuff. No need to spent points in there.
