Strange multiplayer happenings

That strange orb appeared a few years ago when playing MP with my little brother. It's in 1.09. Any idea what it is?

I'd guess he's referring to the even stranger orb just to the right of EShield. My only response is "??"...

I've seen it before...I think it has something to do with raising the dead + lag

The greater mummy variant in the top left of the monster pack has just cast a regenerate skeleton. the skeleton under the sphere is being regenerated the sphere has I think a 1 frame duration to hid the corpse and skeleton. Its a 3 frame animation 1 frame is the corpse 1 this sphere the las is the skeleton. 1/24 of a sec is not really noticable in the heat of battle it usually looks like a puff of smoke or something but since you are facing baal's minions there is a lot of lag thus you get to see the 1 frame for more then 1/24 of a second.

I saw mine on closed B.net so I don't think it has anything to do with that

I've seen it playing by myself. It always lags when I get to Baal my computer is slow enough that I get lag when large groups are on screen.

its more liekly the lag of a slow Pc then, especally as it only has appeared for people on baal minions.

i have occasionally, when TPing back into the throne room, gotten weird rotating blobs floating over items (or corpses?) on the ground which vanish after a few seconds. I assumed it was a graphics card thing.

Catapult ammo. It's a display glitch that was introduced in 1.10, you'll see these over dead bodies sometimes.

This one, however, is on a living body. I've encountered this MANY times on Closed BNet, and it could be the lag (I lag a bit going down tps) but my friends also get it and dont lag. They believe that its from coming down into the throne room after minions have spawned.

I've had a weird thing happen a few times with the minions, where one of the greater mummies revived a death mage at the same moment as my carrion vine was eating the death mage's corpse. The corpse disappeared, but the death mage's shadow got up and started attacking me. Kind of freaky.
