There's no best pvp druid in my opinon, but the main ones are rabies wolf, fury wolf, and fire claws bear. There are plenty of guides on them.

    No armageddon isn't really viable.

Armageddon usually costs too many points to be viable as a backup for a Meleer. On an actual Fire Elementalist it can be quite devastating, but...

Read the guides section for general, overall info like this. That's why it's there :)

At least he/she is thinking about trying something other than a wind druid hehe...

To many bad mannered wind druids in public pk games, town entrance guarding, nkling and declaring I own you all and doing so these days. Not complaining just an observation.

My opinion and everyone else can comment the best build in some general order would be:

rabies/fireclaw hybrid wolf > rabies wolf > fury wolf > fire claw wolf > fire claw bear > maul bear.

    Might have missed some type/combo.

This always depends on the person, equipment etc.

For guides refer to electricblue's and ~Kazam fury~'s for the rabies/fc build, coldarmy13's for fire claw bear.

windys are really overpowered and their players lack skill..randomly casting tornados and twistsers...but there are a few really strong ones like fugitivealien2, and garbads windy...
ive only killed a windy once and that was with smite O_O (he really sucked)

Whatever happened to Maul bears? Are they that obsolete now?

    That's a big generalization.

Probably a semi-accurate one, although obviously there are more exceptions than that.

Fenris, your original reply was uncalled for.

It was a bit angry, but I mean, people come in and expect us to feed them the perfect everything on a silver platter so they can just run off and win all their duels, read the guides/faqs, do some research, experiment, then if you have questions come ask.

All you need to say is, "Refer to the Guide sticky for all of the basic info on a build, and if you have any specific questions ask away."

Hostility never got anyone anywhere, except for bad people.

yes, maul bears are obsolete now... j/k, i just haven't seen a good one yet cuz no one that i know has built one in 1.10...
i was working on a fc/geddon bear... for pvp... but he's currently lvl 67 and at a halt... i just finished my mf windy so i can get more gear for my pvp chars...
another reason i built my windy was because i wanted to understand just how they worked... what kind of damage they were doing and how i could possibly beat them ;)
anyway, Geddon may be viable in pvp if used with fireclaws, only because they share the same synergies ^_^, but then again, it's still a huge spread over the trees...
and Æ’enris... you're not the creator/originator of wind eles, you just "wrote" a guide on how to build them, ppl were building them way before you ever put your guide out... so you don't have to apologize for them ;)

the majority of pvp wolves on east are built as thus:
enough dex to get max block with stormshield (this is dependent on your char lvl... someone please post the calculation because i have forgotten it)
    the rest in str
max wolf, lyc, fury and oak... the rest of the points are up to you
an alternate (and easier way, but less dmg) way to put the stats are enough str for gear, enough dex for max block and rest in vit...
